What is The Hague Workshop?
The Haagse Werkplaats is a public workshop that is accessible to anyone who wants to build anything; individuals, self-employed people, hobbyists and companies can come here. Originated from our own need; this is something that The Hague did not yet have.
At its core, the Haagse Werkplaats is a woodworking workshop, but in the future, we aim to expand its scope. This expansion will include the capability to work with metal, the introduction of a 3D printer, and a commitment to aligning with our customers' needs.
Our goal is to create a beautiful place where anything can be made and where everyone with itchy hands and lack of space or tools can go to work. Not only woodworking, but also maintenance of, for example, a bicycle, upholstering furniture, making your own longboard or even converting a bus into a complete camper.

Our vision
With our workshop we want to offer an inspiring, safe working environment, where people with different (professional) backgrounds have the opportunity to develop creative ideas using professional machines and tools. The place offers a safe working environment where people can work autonomously or together and exchange ideas.
Furthermore, we like to work sustainably, by encouraging reuse and offering people the opportunity to repair or restore old and broken objects, instead of throwing things away or replacing them. People can also learn from us how to repair something and thus give it a second life.
The Haagse Werkplaats should serve as a place where creativity and innovation are stimulated.
