Carpentry Workshop for children in The Hague: Build your own masterpiece! 🛠️👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

Introduce kids to the magic of woodworking in a fun and safe way! During this 2-hour workshop, young builders will learn to work with wood, hammers and nails while making a creation of their own.


What are we going to do?

  • Select project: The children choose a simple, fun project to make, such as:
    • A birdhouse for the garden 🐦
    • A mini car that they can drive 🚗
    • A fantasy figure 🎨
  • Step-by-step learning: Under the supervision of experienced supervisors, the children learn:
    • Using hammers and nails safely.
    • How to saw, sand and join wood.
    • Make small creative additions, such as painting or decorating.
  • Clean up and proudly admire: At the end of the workshop there is time to admire each other's work and to go home with a beautiful project.

I don't speak Dutch, can I still take the course?

Answer:
Yes, our courses are accessible for non-Dutch speaking participants. Most instructors also speak English and can adjust the explanation where necessary. If you have specific language questions, please contact us in advance so we can see what is possible!

I can't make the available dates, what now?

Answer:
If you are not available on the scheduled dates, you can register for the waiting list on the page of the relevant course. As soon as new dates are online, you will automatically receive an email so you can register immediately!

I cannot attend one of the course days, what now?

Answer:
If you miss one lesson, we will work together to find a suitable solution. This could mean, for example, that you catch up on the missed lesson on your own initiative in our workshop during opening hours, or that you participate in a subsequent course.
