Leer in één dag zelf waterleidingen en afvoeren aanleggen

Wil je zelf een wastafel aansluiten, een waterleiding verleggen of een afvoer aanleggen? Tijdens deze praktische cursus van één dag maak je kennis met de belangrijkste werkzaamheden van een loodgieter. Je leert hoe leidingen en afvoeren in huis zijn opgebouwd en hoe je hier zorgvuldig en veilig mee werkt.

The emphasis is on practice. Among other things, you will cut copper pipes to size, bend, connect, and solder. You will also install a tap and lay a drain with a siphon. This way, you not only gain insight into the technology but, more importantly, learn how to apply it yourself for DIY projects around the house.

What are you going to learn?

During this course, we cover, among other things:

• The basic principles of water supply and wastewater discharge
• Recognizing different types of water and drainage pipes
• Preparing and surveying a piping route
• Cutting, deburring, and bending copper tubing
• Making connections by means of crimping and soldering
• Installing and connecting a washbasin faucet
• Making and connecting a custom PVC drain
• Installing and connecting a siphon
• Recognizing and preventing leaks and blockages
• Taking maintenance, frost, and legionella prevention into account
• The basic structure of sanitary fixtures, such as a washbasin and toilet
• Introduction to modern piping systems and connection techniques

Alles is gericht op het zelf kunnen uitvoeren van eenvoudige loodgieterswerkzaamheden in huis.

What does the course look like?

The course consists of één dag van 7,5 uur. Korte stukken theorie wisselen we af met veel praktisch oefenen. Tijdens de dag werk je aan zowel de watertoevoer als de afvoer van een wastafel.

Waterleidingen en aansluitingen

You will learn how a drinking water installation is constructed and which materials and connections are used. Afterwards, you will get to work with copper pipe yourself. You will practice measuring, cutting, bending, crimping, and soldering. Subsequently, you will apply these techniques to connecting a washbasin tap.

Afvoer en sanitair

Vervolgens richten we ons op afvoerleidingen. Je leert hoe een goede afvoer wordt aangelegd en waar je rekening mee moet houden om lekkages en verstoppingen te voorkomen. Je maakt zelf een afvoer met sifon en sluit deze aan op een wastafel. Ook bespreken we de plaatsing en aansluiting van ander sanitair, zoals een toilet.
