Learn how to install a home installation yourself

Do you want to understand how electricity works in your home and be able to install it yourself? In this course, you will learn step-by-step how an electrical installation is constructed and how to carry it out safely according to current standards.

You won't just learn theory, but primarily get hands-on. From reading an electrical drawing to connecting switches and sockets: during the course, you will build your own working circuits.

What are you going to learn?

During this course, we cover, among other things:

  • Basic knowledge of electricity and safety (working with 230V)
  • De-energizing and checking installations
  • Reading and understanding electrical diagrams
  • Bending and installing pipes
  • Pulling wires and making connections
  • Connecting wall sockets and switches
  • Working with lighting and doorbell systems
  • Structure of a fuse box and various circuits
  • Creating changeover, hotel, and cross-switching circuits
  • Designing a simple home installation

What does the course look like?

The course consists of 4 evenings during which you continue building your own installation:

  • Evening 1: Basic theory, safety and measurement + disassembling first components
  • Evening 2: Tubes, pulling wires, and making the first circuit
  • Evening 3: Understanding switches, lighting, and the fuse box
  • Evening 4: Designing more complex circuits and custom installations
