In the Hague Workshop we have an extensive range of machines that help you process wood in a beautiful way. From cross-cut saws to planing machines, our machines make it possible to work quickly and accurately. But safety comes first. That's why it's essential to know how to use these machines properly. And that is exactly what you will learn during our mechanical woodworking course.

During the course you will learn to machine raw wood into workable planks to make a beautiful box with a miter. At the end of the course we glue the box together and allow it to dry. After the course, the box can be finished according to your own wishes and insights in our workshop. We recommend doing this at short notice in order to immediately practice the skills learned.

What can you expect:

  • Work safely with various machines such as the cross-cut saw, format saw, band saw, planer, thicknesser and milling table.
  • Learn how to correctly set up and use the machines for optimal results.
  • A combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, so that you can get started straight away in our workshop.

At the end of the course you will go home with your own painting frame, which you can proudly display.

Yes, that is possible. Most of our instructors also speak English and are used to adapting the explanation if necessary.

For some courses, we also plan a fully English version. Whether this is available depends on the course and the timing.
