What can the laser cutter do?

The laser can both cut and engrave. This allows you to create complex shapes, small details, and repeatable parts that are difficult or time-consuming to produce with hand tools.

Suitable materials include:

  • Wood and sheet material
  • Plywood and MDF
  • Acrylic and plexiglass
  • Cardboard and paper
  • Learn
  • Textile
  • Cork
  • Rubber
  • Glass, stone, and tiles for engraving

The capabilities and maximum material thickness vary by material. Our laser, for example, can cut acrylic up to approximately 10 mm thick. We assess in advance whether your material is safe and suitable for processing.

Specifications

  • Laser power: 100 watts
  • Work surface: 500 × 700 mm
  • Suitable for cutting and engraving

Costs for laser cutting and engraving

The costs depend on the required preparation, machine time, and materials used. If you provide a file and the desired dimensions, we can provide a price estimate in advance.

Start-up costs may be charged for setting up and preparing the machine. Less preparation is required for a repeat order of the same design.

Want to have a design made?

Don't have a ready-made file yet? We can help you develop or check your design. Contact us and, if possible, send your file, sketch, material selection, and desired dimensions along with your request.

NB: Not every material may be processed with a CO₂ laser. Materials such as PVC are not permitted due to the harmful fumes released. Metals cannot be cut with this machine. However, some treated or anodized metals can be marked.
